The restaurant Cozze e Gamberi is perhaps the only ‘open-top’ restaurant on the
coastline, thanks to a futuristic structure that opens the restaurant room-terrace.
Another of its strong points is the open kitchen, where you can admire the skill of
Chef Mauro, developed over twenty years of experience. The restaurant itself is
commanded by Simonetta, who treats every diner with professionalism and courtesy.
The restaurant offers dishes from the Veneto, to which Mauro adds his personal
touch. As well as raw seafood, the menu offers starters such as Moeche
(soft-shelled crabs), local cuttlefish, Barena baby squid and scampi. Main courses
include sea bass in a salt crust, amberjack au gratin with onion, baked turbot
with potatoes, John Dory with courgettes, gilt-head bream with potatoes and
porcini mushrooms. Clients can also order complete special dishes like the
"Mambo" lobster, with yogurt and exotic fruit, or its winter version with fruits of
the forest and mushrooms. All desserts are homemade. The wine list offers 5000
labels
