The heart of this restaurant is expressed in its very name - Bronse Cuerte – an expression in dialect which means live charcoal that burns also when it is covered. This is a place that epitomises the traditional cuisine of this area: grilled meat, smalls ribs, sausages, foal sausage en croûte, steaks and ribs grilled perfectly in the customer’s view are the focus of the gastronomy on offer. Opened in 2002 by Giovanni Montino, Bronse Cuerte combines a friendly, informal atmosphere with a style whose elegance and attention to detail are its distinctive features. The result is entirely traditional cuisine with reinterpreted combinations of flavours. Meat occupies an important place on the menu, but there are also first courses and excellent homemade desserts. The wine list favours wines from the Veneto and Friuli regions, with specially selected labels.
