A unique natural setting, dominated by the flowing Piave and the peaceful countryside all around, makes this a privileged place where you can experience the beauty of nature. The Al Traghetto restaurant has always focussed on the quality and freshness of the produce it uses in its dishes. The restaurant offers traditional cuisine with exclusively seafood-based dishes, grilled on a barbeque where the flames are fed entirely by corn husks. Mauro, who mans the grills, with his wife Nadia and son Sergio in the kitchen, offer Otregani ae bronse, grilled sardines, baby cuttlefish and spaghetti with wedgeshell clams. Classic starters include garusoli, steamed mantis shrimp, grilled razor clams and marinated sardines. The wine list is the work of Sergio, a dedicated AIS sommelier, who each year personally chooses approximately 80 labels that are on offer. Some interesting wines by the glass are also available.
