To combine culture with landscape, we suggest a trip to see the splendid architecture of Verona and the enchanting setting of Sirmione, the green peninsula jutting into the blue of Lake Garda.
You leave Jesolo Lido and arrive in Verona. In Verona, don’t miss a stroll through the historic centre, past Piazza Bra and the Verona Arena (one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in existence), the elegant Piazza dei Signori with its Loggia, Piazza delle Erbe, the Reggia degli Scala, the medieval Palazzo del Comune at the Gothic Arche Scaligere. End your trip to Verona with a short visit to the medieval house which, according to popular tradition, was the home of Juliet.
Just a half hour’s journey will take you to Sirmione, where you can visit the Scaligero Castle and the drawbridge to the little town and the Grotto of Catullus with the remains of an imposing stately home from Roman times. In your free time you can visit the various stores or take a trip on the lake for around 20 minutes, during which you will visit the Sirmione periplus on board a private motorboat.
Departure from Sirmione, return to Jesolo.
