A trip to Venice starts from Jesolo Lido, embarking at Punta Sabbioni and travelling across the Lagoon on board a motor boat. You disembark about 30 minutes later, at Riva degli Schiavoni near St. Mark’s Square.
You walk along the narrow streets of the city’s commercial centre to the Rialto Bridge, after which you return to St. Mark’s Square where you can admire the historic beauty of Venice, the main monuments in the square and those nearby: Palazzo Ducale ( Ducal Palace), il Ponte dei Sospiri(the Bridge of Sighs), the Procuratie, la Biblioteca (the Library), Isola di San Giorgio (the island of San Giorgio), the Basilica della Salute and, of course, St. Mark’s Basilica, which can also be visited inside.
You can have lunch at a typical local spot.
The afternoon can be devoted to cultural tours, shopping and other activities, like a gondola trip.
You leave Venice in the late afternoon and arrive at Punta Sabbioni after a half hour motorboat ride, to then continue on to Jesolo Lido.
