Da Mario
This pizzeria, opened in 1962, is the oldest in Jesolo. Since 1988 it has been run by the Buscato family, which received the Venice Chamber of Commerce Gold Medal for economic progress in 2003. Da Mario overlooks the prestigious pedestrian area of via Bafile, just a short walk from the renovated Piazza Brescia. The restaurant has an indoor room that seats 70, with rustic décor with modern touches, while the terrace seats 60 and includes a smoking area. The family-run business is an added advantage, meaning that Da Mario offers courteous service, a friendly welcome and excellent suggestions that make all the difference. For example, like trying the Mariolina pizza, amongst the many on the menu, with aubergines and cherry tomatoes. The kitchen offers a wide range of delicacies, including starters, large salads, first and second courses. Every day Da Mario has a dish of the day at special prices and on Mondays “Pizza Day” means that all pizzas are 5.00 euros!
