This historic Jesolo spot has recently been renovated. It is now fully air-conditioned, has a large carpark and is far brighter and more elegant than in the past. The Casablanca has always been famous for its grilled specialities – its club sandwich in particular – and for its pizza, but has also been a restaurant for some time. The kitchen offers many seafood specialities, like the Casablanca Starter (which is the dish selected for the Jesolo A Tavola Guide to Eating Out), gnocchi with prawns and porcini mushrooms, spaghetti with tellina clams, cherry tomatoes and basil, grilled or pan-cooked scampi and mixed fried seafood with polenta. There is also a high-level wine cellar with local, national and international labels. Desserts are all homemade. There are also two other non-restaurant specialities you should try: the Nettuno club sandwich and the Castellana pizza.
