Pista azzurra
Built in 1961 over 80,000 mq., the Pista Azzurra is still one of the most important international circuits, hosting kart racing competitions and various types of motorcycle events every year. It has been the scene of European championships and championship trials for kart racing and supermoto. All the great drivers and riders have competed at Pista Azzurra, including Ayrton Senna. Summer 2009 will see an eagerly-awaited event at Pista Azzurra: the 1st Mario Calzavara, Trophy. The first date in the memory of this great Italian karting promoter will be on 19th June, for the first trial and the 2nd August will see the 2nd trial and final. From March to September Pista Azzurra offers you the chance to try the thrill of kart racing by hiring one of its karts for adults and children. Inside the circuit is a well-stocked store for karts and spare parts, a spacious bar and restaurant and a large carpark with a children’s play area.
